Bloomfield Falls
Long before it was known as Bloomfield Falls, this magnificent waterfall was called Wujal Wujal by the indigenous Kuku Yalanji people. Hire a guide and learn why these people still consider Wujal Wujal to be sacred. Or just head down in your 4x4 with a picnic basket to have lunch in serious style!

Must line up first thing in the morning.
Must line up first thing in the morning. Site opens at 8:00am, be there by 7:30 and you'll be the first one up. Head up the hill asap, you'll enjoy the sights with a few other people for 15mins before the crowds head up. Explore the other sites on your way down.

Wonderful attraction!
Wonderful attraction! I feel blessed to have the experience of seeing this! I went in January when the crowds are way less and a much better time for photos. Took about 2 hours to complete. The pathways can be a little slippery if it’s wet. Enjoy this wonder

Be sure to check that it is open when you intend to go. There was a strike on the day that we wanted to visit and no one was allowed to enter. It was a bit disappointing because it is a long walk up hill. (Fortunately, the strike was over by the next morning.)

Try not to go when the weather is very very hot, as it is very bright.Be sure to visit the wonderful museum which explains the history and decorations of this world famous building area,it is really special. The area round the Akropolis is pleasant with rocks, gardens paths and hills, almost like a little area of countryside. A good place to spend the day.

Fantastic and must see visit - suggest going to the Acropolis museum beforehand as it all makes much more sense then. Also to avoid massive queues, check if there are large cruise ships due in that day and choose another day. Book on line beforehand, but you must ensure you get an allocated time slot on your booking (otherwise you’ll queue again when you get there - a night mare!).

A terrific location to see the sites! The apartment has everything you need to prepare your own food, but close to many restaurants if you choose not to. A very short walk to the Acropolis Metro which can take you anyplace in Athens. Highly recommend this apartment!
Location was convenient as it was near to Omonia station which is located 7 minutes away by walk
Restaurants , coffee shops and bakeries all around the hotel easy to grab anything at anytime of the day
Acropolis & Plaka district is just 25 minutes away only
Getting from the airport to Hotel is Hazzle free , staff provided all directions in advance before we arrived to Athens
Check - in / out by yourself highly recommended to do online check-in
Breakfast was fairly good
It is located a few steps from the Acropolis, in a great area surrounded by authentic restaurants and good people.
The apartment is just perfect and the bed is super comfy.
The hosts are amazing very welcoming and they did everything they could with helping us with a little disavventure we had.
I will definitely come back to Athens and to this apartment!
.
The view of the Acropolis is wonderful from the hotel. The breakfast buffet is delicious and with great choices and the best part is that it is offered with view of Acropolis. The spa was incredible and very fairly priced for treatments. The staff at hotel and spa are very friendly yet professional. They went above and beyond to accommodate our needs during our stay. We highly recommend the Grand Hyatt Athens.
I like everything. The room is so large: The location is excellent, and the most important is the nice neighborhood A lot of lovely cafes in the streets behind the hotel and on the route to the Acropolis. If I revisit Athens again I will choose this hotel again.
The staff was very friendly and accommodating and the apartment was spacious, comfortable and clean. The location is great for someone visiting Athens, with the Acropolis, Parthenon and Monastiraki all within walking distance.
We loved everything about this hotel..
Quite simple was our favourite accommodations during our month long holiday visiting Italy, Greece
and Ireland. The VIEW was breathtaking. We loved sitting on the rooftop enjoying the most amazing, delicious breakfasts everyday and then a night cap watching the twinkling lights of Athens and the beautiful view of the Acropolis.
Nice apartment in a building next to the old Olympic stadium in the college area of Athens. About a 10 minute walk to Syntagma metro station and 15 minutes to the Acropolis. Never met the owner but very easy communication over WhatsApp. Got in late from Piraeus but had no problems getting in. Balcony overlooking courtyard with fresh lemons if you are willing to lean over the railing a bit. Lots of good places to eat and get groceries in the area but also lots of steps if you are walking. Great value for a two-bedroom apartment in Athens!
Great location, very near to Acropolis and Acropolis Museum and city center, in a new and modern apartment building with fully furnished apartments. It had everything needed for a comfortable stay. The building also has a rooftop terrace for guests, perfect for chilling.
The host and staff were incredibly kind and made our stay very pleasent: from early check-in to airport transfer arrangements, complimentary drinks, sweets and fruits and recommendations for Athens, they went out of their way to make us feel welcomed.
Beautiful and comfortable apartment that was perfect for our family of 4. It is homey and quiet. We stayed only one night, but wish we could have stayed longer—sadly it was our last full day in Greece. The location is excellent, in the heart of Plaka —a short walk to the Acropolis and the many other attractions in the area. The individuals who run it are extremely sweet and accommodating. They even let us check in hours early to make sure we were comfortable asap. We will certainly return if ever in Athens again. Highly recommended!

If you want to avoid crowds while seeing the famous sights, start out early and be at the sights when they open. I arrived at the Acropolis around 8:10 AM and there were only around 20 people on the whole compound. It was wonderful! There was a crowd climbing the hill when I descended, though!

Also, research opening hours as the Acropolis is closed May 1
Consider visiting Athens in May or September. May is just lovely. Spring flowers like poppies and daisies cover the hills. It's not too busy and not too hot. Remember that on holidays you are always moving so consider the weather when you make your plans. Also, research opening hours as the Acropolis is closed May 1; and other Ancient Landmarks are closed on certain days and on certain hours any other day.
